Thanks to Jim Pifher for the post and to Brad and others who commented on the parking situation. Many visitors were able to see the Roseate Spoonbill this afternoon. I last saw the bird off the wooden observation deck near Old Cedar avenue bridge at 6 pm, when I left. The spoonbill had tucked in to rest. Prior to this it made at least one short flight, but stayed close to the deck with the Great Egrets.
