Wood Stork (Mycteria americana) - Reported Sep 18, 2018 14:31 by John Bruder - Myre Big Island SP, Freeborn, Minnesota - Map: http://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&t=p&z=13&q=43.6262558,-93.3134201&ll=43.6262558,-93.3134201 - Checklist: https://ebird.org/view/checklist/S48595052 - Comments: "Appeared to be one Wood Stork standing 20 yards away from the larger flock of Pelicans. Large tall bird standing on the shore with a white heavy body, dark Grayish head with long heavy beak. Was clearly not a Great Egret but could not get a photo from I-35. Looked very much the same as those seen in Florida, Panama, and Costa Rica previously."
