We had a very pleasant drive through Carlos Avery this morning, the oak trees
are beautiful. We also saw more birds than expected -- the biggest surprise was
a Rough-legged Hawk -- seems early. Also seen:
pair of pheasants
Sandhill Cranes
bald eagle
harrier (beautiful male)
Trumpeter swans -- 6
golden-crowned kinglet
ruby-crowned kinglet
blue jays
juncos
Rough-legged hawk
