Hi all,

I will be driving from Wyoming to northern Wisconsin tomorrow and Friday,
and I'm hoping to make a stop or two along the way to stretch my legs and
do some birding. It occurred to me that this trip will take me through the
middle of the migratory path of Smith's Longspur, which would be a new
addition to my life list. I have no firm route yet decided upon, but I'll
likely be passing through southern Minnesota and I see on eBird that there
is quite a cluster of Smith's Longspur sightings in the southwestern part
of the state, including several within the last few weeks. If anyone has
seen SMLO recently, or has a tip for a good place to spend an hour or two
looking for a flock, I would very much appreciate any suggestions.

Thanks in advance, and good birding!
