To Scott, Pete, and the several Veterans Memorial Park birders encountered,
Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! ... a life bird for me and one long-yearned for! Found the VATH around noon on Saturday in a crab apple tree west of the memorial (west side of Portland... a private residence’s front yard...). Visible with a spotting scope from the memorial. I think it was a female. Thanks again for your posts and info sharing! The bird was with a small flock of American Robins. I found the bird on the walking path on the south side of the park, but the flock flew north into the middle of Veterans. There has been a large flock of Robins in the park this week and it probably can be found in this group.
