Cindy Broste spotted a Hermit Thrush today on the Monarch Trail that goes south from the Eastman Nature Center. It was foraging behind the tall cedars on the west side of the meadow across from the trail as it nears the river. We both had good looks at it and saw the eye ring, breast spots and reddish tail.
