The Mississippi River has finally broken open here in Houston County and
tonight there is a MASS migration of waterfowl taking place. Tornadoes of
birds filling the backwaters south of Reno and a steady stream of tens of
thousands pouring upriver here before dusk. Full moon and a nice south breeze
with very moderate temperatures this evening.

Subject: [mou-net] Satellite imagery

(Posted by Tom Gilde <[email protected]> via moumn.org)

Does anyone know of any website that offers reasonably current satellite
imagery of the upper Midwest, at decent resolution? I'm thinking that it
would be nice (and efficient) to be able to check imagery for open water on
a periodic basis - obviously the approaching spring is getting me itchy to
go and look for waterfowl, et al.

Thanks, Tom Gild
