Did you know Peregrine Falcons were extirpated in MN until a recovery program in the 1970s? Another effort Carrol Henderson was a part of and will share how bantie chickens played a role in the peregrine's incredible journey of survival at the 22nd Annual Detroit Lakes Festival of Birds May 15-18. Joining Henderson as presenters are humorist Al Batt, and Lyanda Haupt, who weaves a tale of bonding with her pet Starling just as the famous composer and the basis for her book, Mozart's Starling.
