Only two concentrations of waterfowl. In the flooded field on the north side of the road on the east side of the bridge at Etter. No geese or scaup here. Large numbers of Canvasback and Redheads.
On South County Road 24 in Wabasha County, close to Kellogg, on the north side, White-fronted Geese, Tundras, many Canvasback, Redhead, Wigeon. No teal and only one scaup. Twenty-four Bald Eagles in the trees at one of the scenic pullouts north of Read’s Landing. On the way home, two Turkey Vultures, Kestrel. No flocks of geese were on the wing at any time.
