Got good views for about 30 seconds. 2 Bald Eagle 1 Red-tailed Hawk 2 Belted Kingfisher 1 Yellow-bellied Sapsucker 3 Red-bellied Woodpecker 3 Downy Woodpecker 2 Hairy Woodpecker 2 Pileated Woodpecker 3 Northern Flicker 1 Merlin 6 Eastern Phoebe 6 Blue Jay 1 American Crow 15 Black-capped Chickadee 1 Red-breasted Nuthatch 10 White-breasted Nuthatch 4 Brown Creeper 9 Winter Wren -- Visual on 5, heard many others at various locations. 1 Carolina Wren -- Heard only. I wasn’t sure what I was hearing initially but after a “phone a friend” (thanks Peter Nichols) I was certain it was CAWR”. Tried to get an audio recording, I couldn’t get it to call back though. 25 Golden-crowned Kinglet 7 Ruby-crowned Kinglet 3 Eastern Bluebird 15 Hermit Thrush -- Hard count, likely more. 8 American Robin 2 American Goldfinch 3 Song Sparrow 1 Red-winged Blackbird 2 Common Grackle 5 Yellow-rumped Warbler 3 Northern Cardinal Number of Taxa: 39 It just stopped raining here....what are you waiting for get out there!
