Most people know about 180th Street Marsh<https://ebird.org/hotspot/L303740?yr=all&m=&rank=lrec>, and many people know about 140th Street Marsh<https://ebird.org/hotspot/L380565?yr=all&m=&rank=lrec>, but the new Marsh on the block is 100th Street Marsh<https://ebird.org/hotspot/L3891612?yr=all&m=&rank=lrec> in Cottage Grove (Washington County).
In the four years of capturing data on eBird, a couple dozen listers have managed to report 144 different species. Today, I managed to record 36 species over a 90 minute span, notables include visuals on an American Bittern, 30+ Rusty Blackbird, Northern Harrier, Wilson Snipes, and Swamp Sparrows. Unlike the other Marshes 100th Street Marsh<https://ebird.org/hotspot/L3891612?yr=all&m=&rank=lrec> has generous shoulder space along the entire Marsh so if needed/desired you don’t need to leave your car nor do you need to move for any cars passing by.
