First hummingbird of the season visited my home in Mendota Heights late this
afternoon, and promptly located the only flower in bloom in my yard.

Langton Lake Park, on the west side of Roseville just east of 35W, has been
busy for the past two days with warblers as well numerous Ruby--Crowned
Kinglets. The path on the west side of the small lake was especially
productive. This morning, we saw 16 Black and White Warblers, a personal best,
Also notable for this suburban park were 6 Northern Waterthrushes, dozens of
Palm Warblers and a few Solitary Sandpipers. And many Yellow-Rumps.
