Hi all,

I will be driving across central/southern Minnesota on Saturday May 11th,
and as I won't be pressed for time I was hoping to make a stop or two for
birding. Henslow's Sparrow is my primary target, but Gray-cheeked Thrush
would be a lifer as well. Based on recent reports both here and on eBird, I
was considering either Carver Park Reserve or Crow-Hassan Park Reserve.
I'll likely be arriving in that area in the early afternoon (not ideal, I
know), and I can spend a couple of hours searching before I'll need to
continue west. If anyone would recommend one of these locations over the
other, or has specific tips about how to find Henslow's Sparrow at Carver
or Crow-Hassan, I would greatly appreciate any suggestions. I'm assuming
that Gray-cheeked Thrush is a possibility pretty much anywhere wooded, and
being a migrant probably more difficult to predict, but if folks have them
I'm open to ideas on that one too. Thanks in advance!

Good birding,
