Had thrills of seeing my FOY Blue-winged Warbler, Golden-winged Warbler, many Rose-breasted Grosbeaks in breeding fenzies, Indigo Bunting, Blue-Gray Gnatcatcher, Yellow Warbers, and other migrants and residents. The wildest part of the weekend was having a huge bird fly about 30 feet over our heads and clumsily plop into a trees branches some 75 feet high and perch. It took a few looks and stunned misidentifications until we realized it was a female turkey. Now that was a first for me!
