This evening, I met Robert Freeman and Dan Orr near the original site and arrived 7 minutes too late to get a look before it flew off.
The Ibis flew high, north/northwestish, after a noisy vehicle passed. Did some criss-crossing through flooded fields and marshes around Graceville on the way home, but no luck. I'll check the area again Wednesday afternoon. It was feeding in a flooded ditch around 6:00PM this evening. Half the ditches in the immediate area are flooded; so too with fields, so it could be a challenging find come tomorrow.
