I observed a Say's Phoebe in Clay County yesterday morning. It was at the
Minnesota State University Moorhead's Regional Science Center, near Buffalo
River State Park 20 minutes east of Moorhead.

The bird was singing from several perches near the abandoned clubhouse of what
used to be a golf course, near these coordinates: 46.870164,-96.4512603

The bird appeared to be surveying for nesting sites as it flew up under the
eaves of the building. However I did not see a nest nor a second bird.

Anyone can access the site. After turning off Hwy 10 towards Buffalo River
State Park, pass under the railroad tracks and turn left. Continue 1.2 miles
and park on the side of the road. The clubhouse is the big building 80 m to the
east. Please don't drive off the main road, and please don't try to enter the
clubhouse... it is slated for demolition late this summer.

Cheers,
