American Avocet We spotted an American Avocet today at Kelly Farms in Washington County. It was in the big pond that is on both sides of Manning about a half mile south of Washington County 4. It was a long ways away so a scope would help a lot. (We didn't have one.) I posted a few photos on the MOU FB page. The bird was still there when we left about 2:00 p.m.
