The study published in the journal Science was reported by different media a
couple days ago. It has many authors and is summarized here in an ABC press
release.
The study incorporates NEXRAD met radar data, Breeding Bird Survey, and Audubon
Christmas Bird Count data on a national scale. N American waterfowl and BAEA's
are doing good. Shorebirds populations have declined by a third, and grassland
species are down by 53%.
The link to the original Science paper at the bottom of this article will only
give you the abstract of the study (unless you are subscribed or a member of
AAAS.)
