"The Natural World of the TwinCities"

Moriarty will speak about the various natural areas and habitats across the
Twin Cities and the plants and animals found there. The program will
highlight the photos and maps found in his new book The Field Guide to the
Natural World of the Twin Cities. Moriarty has been a natural resource
manager in Ramsey and Hennepin Co's for many years. He has written five
books on natural history. This is his most recent. Siah St Clair took many
of the photos that illustrate the book. The book will be available to buy
at the meeting. John is an expert on birds, tree, amphibians, mammals and
is the senior resource manager for Three Rivers Parks. He knows where many
birds can be found in the metro area throughout the year.
