(Posted by Linda Sparling <hags...@aol.com> via moumn.org) I found the Sayâs Phoebe briefly this afternoon at 2:10, 140th Marsh. It was closer to the NW end when I saw it. It flew out of the lines of shrubs in the water, closer to the road; then to a shrub closer to the back edge. I was able to observe it in flight and perched. The black tail contrasted with the grey/brown back were immediately evident. When it perched I could see the salmon belly. When I turned for my scope it flew and I didnât see in what direction. There were other folks there and I tried for another half hour to help them find it, but the bird did not show again. Nice find, I forget who found it yesterday! ---- Join or Leave mou-net: http://lists.umn.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=mou-net Archives: http://lists.umn.edu/archives/mou-net.html
