About 25 minutes ago I watched a lone Male White-Crowned Sparrow checking out our water feature with a mini “creek” and waterfall. It finally decided to take a dip in the creek. The bird was fun to watch as it thoroughly ENJOYED splashing and bathing. Then it flew away to preen somewhere. I saw no other sparrows nearby. I’ll be watching for more migrators.
