There is currently a Black-necked Stilt on the gravel bar on the east side
of the island, High Island Lake.  Only occasionally visible when it walks
out to the tip, blocked by pelicans and swans at other times.  Kind of
strange to see a BNST and not be surprised.   Lots of shorebirds visible
from the public access in New Auburn, none bigger than Dunlin.
