I plan to do a Big Sit on the morning of Saturday, October 23, from 8:00 AM to noon, as part of Birdability Week. At some time between 11:00 AM and noon, the event will be featured as part of a live social media broadcast, hosted by Birdability. The site, tentatively, will be the picnic area on the north side of Hyland Lake in Bloomington; however, I am open to changing that to somewhere else in the southwest metro, if: (a) anyone can suggest an accessible, great Big Sit site with a higher potential species count; or (b) you have a better suggestion that would enable you (and hopefully others) to join for all or part of the morning. I would only kindly request that if you join me, you consider making a donation - of any amount you like - to Birdability. I will be pledging a set amount for every species identified, between 8:00 AM and noon.
