Hi everyone, I heard from the homeowner at 5554 Howard Gnesen Road that the Varied Thrush, first reported on November 27, was seen again this morning after their return from a 9-day trip. The bird hadn't been present during the days before their departure so the new sighting comes as an unexpected surprise. The homeowner still welcomes visitors although the bird (so far) might not be coming to the feeders as frequently as before. fyi, and Happy New Year!
