Hello MOU members, A loon survey to conduct resighting work in Le Sueur County where a "Restore the Call" project previously translocated young loons will take place *Thursday, 7/31 and Friday, 8/1*.
The National Loon Center is looking for volunteers from the MOU local to the area to participate! There are opportunities to survey via motorboat, canoe/kayak, or from the shoreline depending on what you have access to. Anyone interested is welcome to join a informational Zoom meeting on *Tuesday, July 29th at 5pm* to learn more about the project and the survey protocols.
