There was a report of a Painted Redstart sighting in Eagan on 4/22. Information about this sighting was sent by telephone to the local Burnsville/Eagan birders on 4/23. The bird was not seen.
The home owner reported seeing the bird feeding on the ground under an "Absolute Feeder" for some time. It was not seen again after this one sighting.
