Two Henslow's Sparrows were present this morning at the Carver Rapids unit of the MN River Valley NWR.
>From the intersection of Carver county roads 50 & 11 (Jonathon Carver Parkway), go north a little over a mile and park in the parking area on the right (east) side of the road. Walk the two lane trail from the parking lot north to the dirt road. Then follow the dirt road right (east). The Henslow's were heard & see along this road. Also present were Grasshopper Sparrows and a first year male Orchard Oriole.
