Many thanks to Ken Vail, Mark, and 5 other birders for arranging a cell phone network yesterday evening, so all of us could have wonderful views of one of the Dodge Cty owls.
I've looked back at other posts, and this owl was in almost the exact same place it had been on other sightings: in a field, on a rise on the east side of 120th Ave. about 1/4 mi. north of 700th St. Although it was dusk (around 6 pm) when it was found, it was easily seen through scopes, and later flew south, across 700th St., finally perching on a post, giving us closer views until it flew southwest.
