November 2, 2012, Ramsey county - Clark's Nutcracker update There was a fairly large group of birders that spent the afternoon, in the area that the Clark's Nutcracker has been reported from and did not see the bird. I was there from about 1:30 pm to 6:05 pm and again did not observe the Clark's Nutcracker. The last reported sighting we heard about was from around 12:30 pm. With luck, the bird may still be in the area. I would like to thank all those who posted updates and the initial sighting of the bird. While I missed the Clark's Nutcracker, I did get to see a flock of around 12 Red Crossbills and a migrating Golden Eagle also passed overhead while we waited.
