At least one of the two COMMON EIDERS discovered on Lake Superior in

near the bridge. And on the 21st, Karl Bardon found a first cycle

Regent Street. Most observations are from the alley behind the houses.

On December 20th, Steve Millard found a BARROW'S GOLDENEYE in Fergus

SOLITAIRE was in Duluth feeding on crabapples near the blue trailer home
between 4059 and 4066 Nelson Road. Another solitaire was found by Tom
Tustison on the 13th in Resurrection Cemetery in Dakota County. It's
near the center of the cemetery on the west side.

And a few more SNOWY OWLS are showing up around the state. Three are
along Sherburne County Road 17 south of U.S. Highway 10. Two were in
Brainerd, Crow Wing County on the 24th, across from the Curling Club.
One was in St. Paul on the 14th at the junction of University Avenue and
Raymond Street. And on the 23rd, one was reported from Clay County, a
mile south of Georgetown on the west side of U.S. Highway 75 at 150th
