Hey birders,

I just wanted to offer highlights from the Mankato CBC. The biggest
highlight was a Snowy Owl! The bird was located west of CR21 on CR101 in
the Kasota Prairie area around 3pm. Also in that area: Snow Bunting,
Lapland Longspur, several Rough-legged Hawks, Northern Shrike, and a Merlin.

Other birds of note: Common Redpoll, Purple Finch, Rusty Blackbird,
Red-breasted Nuthatch, and two Northern Saw-whet Owls.

Happy birding!
