I hope this note finds all of you well! I'm reaching out to you today because Tobi and I need your help with some Firefox Flicks outreach. I know that many of you helped localize the flicks site (www.firefoxflicks.org). Thank you so much for that. It looks fantastic. As a part of our plan to encourage entries from all over the world, we are sending out promotional packages to film schools all over the world. These packages include a welcome letter, flicks postcards, posters and stickers. We hope that film professors will share this information with their students and encourage them to participate. Winning Firefox Flicks can have a very positive effect on a young filmmaker's career. Here's where we need your help. We have created these mailers, but we think it makes no sense to send out the information about it in English. I have contacted you all because there are film schools in your countries that we want to reach out to. We were hoping that you could translate some of these materials. Also, since you have already localized the flicks site, some of the content is the same so hopefully it will be less work. I've collected all the copy here: https://etherpad.mozilla.org/flicks2013mailersl10n I was thinking we could do it like we've done some of the affiliate button content, so that it's easier for Tobi to take the translated copy and lay it out for production. I've also included links to PDFs of the English artwork so you can see what it all looks like in context.
