Has anyone set up an alternative interface (REPL) to Oz?

Alas no. Emacs is a powerful but unfriendly editor, and many of us feel unsatisfied with our current OPI.

Several people announced their intention to build a better IDE for Mozart, but none has succeeded so far. An example of those projects is Amadeus (http://sourceforge.net/projects/amadeus-ce/). Someone else even proposed to interface Oz with vi %p You can find out those proposals in the Mozart mailing list archives.

If you have an idea to interface Mozart to an existing IDE, feel free to suggest! You might find support from the community, especially if it requires little work. We gave up the idea of developing a full IDE, since it would require some unreasonable effort.

Cheers,
