OK, as I said before, standalone executables using libcurl
(http://curl.haxx.se/libcurl/) seem to work
fine, but if I try to use a native module, it can ONLY access URLs
_INSIDE_ my local (home) network, it fails to connect with others,
although it DOES resolve them correctly.
Following the suggestion one of the libcurl crowd, I have produced a
couple of "straces" here, hoping that someone will get some idea of hy
this may be happening.
