Being a newcomer to Oz myself, I must agree with Russ.
Despite several people's assurances that the operation of spaces is not
necessary knowledge for a beginner, I would disagree. Perhaps not for a
rank beginner, but certainly for anyone with a real interest in the
language I think it is absolutely necessary.
Some of the members here (Raph, Filip, Yves et al) will remember my
recent queries which really arose out of a lack of understanding of the
computation space model.
Having grokked (though it required much head-scratching, and resorting
to quite a few of the bibliography papers)it was like a little *epiphany*.
Not that I didn't have to work at it, but even so, worth it big time.
BTW, look for the papers on the Mozart site, so much more convenient
than going via the Springer links)
A "Computation Spaces for Oz beginners (Dummies?)" would have been most
welcome...
