I propose the alternative of using variable names that end with _, rather
than start with _.
I have a different view on this. IMO a prefix indication is clearer
than a postfix one. A few examples to support my claim: the difference
between variables and atoms (first letter), the annotations '?' and '!',
the operators '!!', '@'.
There is no real issue in changing the syntax, since a word with a
leading '_' is currently not valid in the language. This is a strict
language extension. Clarity must prevail. But it depends on everyone's
eyes...
