Sure, but I think that it would be useful if this was turned on by default in the OPI (I mean globally, in the distribution), because many newcomers have problems with shadowing, and they mostly experiment interactively in the OPI.

That's a good point. I don't think newcomers would start by adding this flag to their OPI. In fact, it would be also useful for the students over here.

But maybe more experienced developers would prefer a more conservative approach, and not enable it immediately until confirm that is behaving correctly. Kevin, Raph, what do you say?
