(John... copy this to crypto newsgroups... thx)

Hello Alex,

Everyone is getting the story wrong.
LockNuts has not been sold, yes there was an offer made, but it was
declined.

Somebody is talking but getting the story wrong... when we designed LockNuts
we wrote most of the package in portable C which does run on Linux, however
the package as its distributed is designed for Windows solely because the
top layer is COM and that's pretty much a Windows thing.
We do not distribute the pure C interface mainly because it supports many
algs and we dont want users to have to be a rocket scientist to use it. The
high level COM interface hides the complex stuff and lets the user get on
with the application, without trading strength for ease.

We were asked if we would bring out a compatible Corba/Linux version,
however we have no current expertise in that area, and there is no financial
incentive... so the answer is, yes it can be done, but we don't intend doing
it anytime soon. Our target platform is VBA and JAVA, at present.

We will test and develop a version on C# (should be predominantly sample
code) however will wait sometime for those waters to cool a little.

I thank you for your interest in LockNuts... and assure everyone... it has
not been sold.

Kind Regards
JR Taylor (CEO)
