This is to announce the NSS 3.2 Beta 1 release.
The release notes is available at
http://www.mozilla.org/projects/security/pki/nss/release_notes_32.html.

The most important feature of NSS 3.2 is the
new NSS shared libraries -- libnss3.so, libsmime3.so,
and libssl3.so. Only the functions documented in
the NSS 3.2 Public Functions list
(http://www.mozilla.org/projects/security/pki/nss/ref/nssfunctions.html)
are exported from the shared libraries. All
products (except PSM and JSS) should use the
shared libraries. If you run into any unresolved
symbols, for example the low-level crypto/hash
functions or the cert/key database open functions
(in your custom NSS initialization code), please
report them here for support.

Second, we have folded in the latest assembler
code from Sun and HP in the mpi BigNum library.
Thanks to Sun and HP for their contributions to
the NSS project at mozilla.org.

We expect to do a Beta 2 to address the issues
uncovered during customer integration, and make
the final release on Valentine's Day.
