Hi, I have a problem with iPlanet with SSL on Solaris. This is key/cert database initialization: Hardware: Server Sun E250 Software: Solaris 5.7 with Service Pack cluster from 17.07.2001. 1. iPlanet 4.1 SP 7 In Error.log: iPlanet-WebServer-Enterprise/4.1SP7 BB1-04/05/2001 18:30 [19/Jul/2001:13:20:03] failure ( 5366): NSS initialization failed: -8174. Cert database : /opt/iplanet/alias/https-ssl-myserver-cert7.db . On iPlanet Adm On/Off console: Status: sh: chmod: not found [https-ssl]: start failed. (2: unknown early startup error) [https-ssl]: iPlanet-WebServer-Enterprise/4.1SP7 BB1-04/05/2001 18:30 [https-ssl]: startup: listening to https://myserver.pl, port 443 as www [https-ssl]: server exit: status 1 Error An error occurred during startup. The server https-ssl was not started 2. The same machine but iPlanet: 6.0b [19/Jul/2001:11:20:37] info ( 3454): iPlanet-WebServer-Enterprise/6.0 BB1-02/20/2001 20:42 [19/Jul/2001:11:20:38] config ( 3455): The server key database has not been initialized.
