hola,

I have a vignette website protected by siteminder using nes 3.6.3
servers - I know I am working on the upgrade...

We enter userid/password and post these values to the sitminder plugin
(login.fcc) on the ssl netscape instance which authorizes &
authenticates us. We then get redirected to a template that does a js
redirect off the ssl.

When using:
  Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:0.9.4)
Gecko/20011019 Netscape6/6.2

we get:

?????????????????????????????!!??????????????????????????????????????????????????????^(0)?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

the ssl certificate appears to be valid:
The website supports authentication for the page you are viewing.
The idnetity of this web site has been verified by Verisign, INC, a
certificate authority you trust for this purpose.

and viewing the certificate:
  issued to:
  CN intl-tst.ingrammicro.com
  O Ingram Micro
OU Ingram Micro INTL SSL 1
  # 21:F2:F9:41BC:33:43:C5:65:4A:0E:FD:49:FC:07:D5
  issued by:
  CN <Not Part Of Certificate>
  O RSA Data Security, Inc.
  OU <Not Part Of Certificate>
  validity:
  issued 8/3/2001
  expires 8/3/2002

The Certificate Signature Algorithm & the Subject Public Key Algorithm
is PKCS #1 MD5 With RSA Encryptione

This does not happen if I post to the none ssl netscape instance.

This does not happen with N4.2 or IE

any advice/recommendation would be extremely helpful.

thanks
davids
