We have a PKCS#11 library to sign messages with Netscape Messenger. Now
I want to update netscape to mozilla (I have latest mozilla from ximian,
0.9.8), but I still want to sign from my smartcard throug PKCS#11.
I have added the Security Device and now Mozilla ask me for my smartcard
PIN. Then I can see that it is able to read the certificate from my
smartcard. I select this certificate to sign messages. But when I try to
send a message, I have an error message saying:
Sending of message failed
You requested to sign this message, but the applicationm failed to find
an encryption cert to include in the signed message or the certificate
has expired.
I am sure that the certificate is not expired, because I can see in the
certificate properties that it expires on 2006.
Any idea?
