First of all I have to say sorry to my post ! I was too stupid in using the correct news server. I have had trouble in getting things to work in mozilla the whole day and finally posted to this newsgroup in hope that someone could help me and then after driving home, I hoped someone answered and I get it done the same day and then there was this thing with my providers newsserver not dealing with attachements etc...
Actually I got the CA certificate imported by adding a mime-type as I read in another of your newsgroups by doing it like: >>goto Preferences->Navigator->Helper Applications >>Click on <New Type..> >>Fill in the following fields: >>Descripty of type: CA Cert >>File Extension: cacert >>MIME type: application/x-x509-ca-cert >>Leave the last field blank. After that I could open a *.cacert file and mozilla imported it correctly! There just was one more issue that occured! Without the ca certificate being present I saved the servers certificate permanently. This did not store the ca with it as I posted before. If I now wanted to import the ca certificate with "open file.." mozilla mentioned that it would allready exist but that was not the case! After deleting the certifiacte from the Tab "Web sites" the import worked! So there really goes something wrong in storing the certifiactes permanently... Thanks for your time and being that patient with me that day!
