FYI - data point. Crypto / Signed E-mail 1) I relieved email with a broken signature. I was part of an address list. Mozilla (2002070108) and Netscape 4.79 both said the signature was bad. Outlook said the signature was fine. 2) Corresponding directly with the author, his signed replys were signed fine. 3) Both of us are in the same domain, and use an Exchange mail server in the middle.
My guess is that the Exchange server modified something in the message as part of the address list expansion that MS does not include in the signature base where as NS/Moz do include it in the base. Any other guesses? Victor Probo
