Just for the record, I had to contact Stephane Saux of Netscape who coordinates the Root CA Program. It turns out that Netscape charge an insane fee of $150.000 per included root certificate. For what, I don't know but it means that TDC expect only to see their certificate included in browsers like Internet Explorer and Opera. As Mozilla users we will have to install it manually. So much for "open".

Hi,

TDC Internet, a Danish telecom company, recently won a government contract to provide all Danish citizens with a digital signature. They have shown interest in cooperating with the Open Source community in order to make their solution work on Linux and BSD as well.

One of the things that has come up is browser support for their root certificate. Can somebody please explain what the standard procedure for adding root certificates to Mozillas default certificate database is?

Thanks.
