I've read the faqs and I haven't found the answer...
Where do the (CA) certificates that come with Mozilla come from? I mean how
do they decide which ones to include and how did they get them. Also can I
take the certificates that come with Mozilla and use them in another product
(like a different SSL implementation)? I would think that CA certificates
would be freely distributable since it should in theory increase the value
of the CA (because their certs would be verifable in more places).

I would really appreciate any information people have on this.
