Hello everyone I'm having problems with IPlanet 6.0 Service Pack 1. My site has a client authentication with digital certificates and everything is fine. But when a client with an expired certificate tries to enter, he gets a misinformed message: 'DNS server error' or 'Cannot find server'. In order to customize this message I have tried several things, but without any good result so far. I have tried with the Error section in the obj.conf file with the function send-error and the error-code 403 (Forbidden) but It seems like the web server doesn't execute this statement in this case.
The error log lines that I got are: [18/Nov/2003:12:20:13] failure (27310): for host 10.10.10.42 trying to GET /DOL/prueba.jsp, Client-Auth reports: Error completing handshake: (-8181) SEC_ERROR_EXPIRED_CERTIFICATE - Certificate has expired [18/Nov/2003:12:20:13] info (27310): Internal Info: loading servlet /DOL/prueba.jsp [18/Nov/2003:12:20:13] info (27310): /DOL/prueba.jsp: init [18/Nov/2003:12:20:13] failure (27310): Error receiving connection (SSL_ERROR_RX_UNEXPECTED_CHANGE_CIPHER - SSL received an unexpected Change Cipher Spec record.) Has anybody have ever had/heard the same problem? I'd appreciate very much if anyone could help me, please.
