cannot come from you since the policy says: "The Mozilla
Foundation will not charge any fees to have a CA's certificate
distributed with Mozilla."
Considering CAcert is a reasonably small newish non-profit org itself, we gave (well for us) a large contribution to the Mozilla Foundation, we've done so in good faith and don't want our money back if Mozilla Foundation doesn't accept us for inclusion.
