Looks to me like you're trying to follow the instructions in chapter 12 of the printed O'Reilly book "Creating Applications with Mozilla". Those instructions are flawed. If you have more questions, I suggest you ask them in the newsgroups
and/or mailing lists for the mozdev organization (the authors of that book).

But it still doesn't work with a 2.6 one.
It is no more important for me because my certificates are now generated. But it would be fine for people who only belong a 2.6 kernel machine to have this work.
