I doubt it's a bug at all per se'. Here's what I think is going on.
In the Windows OS cert system, a cert may have an optional "friendly name". You can see it in window's cert manager window (at least in XP you can, and probably older versions too). When Windows creates a P12 file, it always puts a friendly name into the P12 file. If that name is not present, it tries to create one. I think that's how you get these odd names.
Q: What (if any) friendly name do you see for this cert in Windows's cert manager?
Windows' cert manager window will let you edit the friendly name of any cert. So, I think the solution is: edit the cert in windows and give it a friendly name you like. Then export it to P12.
Be sure you delete the existing cert from mozilla before you try to import the new P12 file, or mozilla will use the friendly name from the previously imported cert.
